Maritime falls to #10 Montclair St.

            Maritime falls to the number 10 ranked team Montclair 97-84. Maritime proved it can keep up pace with the scoring, but it defense struggled to hold Montclair back. Also, the 22 turnovers Maritime tallied resulted in 23 free points for Montclair. Jake Devaney had another stellar game bringing in 25 points and 8 rebounds, he was helped by Jesse Tricario with 18 points, Tyler Anderson with 14 points, and off the bench Zion Williams who had 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Maritime proved it could play with top ranked teams and despite the score at the end it was a much closer game all the way through. Maritime only trailed by 3 going into the second half, but turnovers hurt them. Maritime is projected to be a top team in the Skyline Conference and games like this show just how competitive they can be if they fix a few minor issues. Maritime is now 4-4 overall.
