Maritime vs St. Joseph’s-
Maritime snaps a two-game losing streak with a decisive win over St. Joseph’s Brooklyn 90-73. Maritime controlled the game from early on shooting the lights out of the ball, shooting 40% from behind the arch, while also recording 12 steals which resulted in 27 points on the other end. Zion Williams continues his tear with another double-double, leading Maritime with 27 points and 13 rebounds, followed by Chris Zaveckas with 14 points, Jake Devaney with 13 points and 7 rebounds, and Tyler Anderson with 11 points and 4 assists. St. Joseph’s didn’t go down easy though, Colin Mills scored 15 points, followed by Jacob Idowu with 13 points and 5 rebounds then Timothy Richardson with 12 points and 4 rebounds. Williams performance over the past month is one of the best we have seen, with him playing this way it’s hard to see a way Maritime doesn’t get back on track and make a run in the playoffs. Maritime moves to 7-5 in conference play as St. Joseph’s falls to 4-8.
