Maritime vs UMSV-
Maritime explodes on offense scoring 106 points against UMSV securing their sixth conference win. Maritime shot 50% from the field and from behind the arc, while also picking up 21 points off turnovers. Jake Devaney lead the team with 27 points and 7 rebounds, followed by Zion Williams with 25 points and 9 rebounds, Tyler Anderson joined in with 22 points and 6 assists, then off the bench Chris Zaveckas had 12 points. After the first half Maritime led by just 4 points and looked like it was going to be a close game, but despite UMSV’s best effort Maritime exploded for 62 second half points. UMSV was actually extremely solid on offense scoring 82 points, Eric Woodberry remains a key player for them dropping 22 points, he was followed by Alex Chi with 12 points and 7 rebounds, and Joel Gado with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Maritime is a tough team to beat when Devaney and Williams are red hot, then add in Anderson on top of that they are a top team in the conference offensively at least. Maritime now sits at 6-3 in conference play as UMSV falls to 1-8.
