Manhattanville College

Pre-Season Report 2025

A new era starts in Manhattanville this year as they welcome their new coach, Jon Merceus. He will look to turn this team around after a disappointing year last season where they finished 8-17 overall and 4-14 in the Skyline Conference. This will be a tough task for them due to the loss of three of their top four scorers.

Returning this season though is the leading scorer from last year Andrew Saint-Louis who averaged 15.9 points and 3.7 rebounds.  Defense remains a question this year with them losing one of their most prolific defenders Ryan Giordano who recorded 45 blocks last season. A lot of the scoring burden will be on Saint-Louis, but he will need some returning players to step up from last year. They had a very spread-out offense last season with 4 players averaging 8 or more points. Daniel Marinaccio and John Ranaghan return both averaging 4 points on limited minuets. They will have to step up if the team is going to be able score with the top teams. They did manage to and a transfer from Doge City Community college Chris Robinson who averaged 11.2 points while he was there which will help their offense recover from the losses of last years graduates.

Coach Merceus will take over, looking to turn this season around and make the changes needed to get Manhattanville back to the playoffs. He comes over from the very successful division 2 school Pace University and will look to continue his success here!
