FARMINGDALE MOVES ON TO THE SEMI FINALS

Farmingdale vs St. Joseph’s-

            Farmingdale moves onto the semi finals after defeating St. Joseph’s 83-62, they will play Sarah Lawrence for a chance to move onto the Skyline Finals. Farmingdale got off to a hot start and it proved too much for St. Joseph’s to overcome, Farmingdale led by 20 points going into the second half. For the game Farmingdale had 11 steals which gave them 20 points, while also dominating in the paint, scoring 48 points there. St. Joseph’s didn’t go down easy though, Kenny Rodriguez had 15 points, followed by Anthony Todd with 13 points, then Jaiden Gaston with 12 points, they managed to fight back and play the second half essentially even. Farmingdale was led by Sean Conroy and Liam Buckley with 18 points each, while Buckley also added 11 rebounds, followed by Michael Notias with 11 points. Farmingdale is now looking to avenge the heartbreaking finals loss of last season, they just have to get past a tough Sarah Lawrence team to do so.
