Coach Etheart picks up first win in overtime thriller

St. Josephs vs Messiah University-

            Coach Etheart earns his first win over Messiah University in an overtime thriller 103-94. The St. Josephs Bears gave up lead in the second half but managed to rebound in overtime and hang onto the win. 2 players finished with double-doubles for St. Joseph’s, first Jorden Bennett who recorded 18 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists, second is Jacob Idowu who brought in 17 points and 13 rebounds. St. Joseph’s had quite a few players contribute including Justin Munson who brought in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists, Timothy Richardson who recorded 10 points and 5 rebounds, Austin Wrynn who brought in 9 point and 9 rebounds, and finally off the bench Colin Mills put up a team leading 24 points. St Josephs scored a staggering 103 points showing they can score with any team. In overtime they managed to run away with it out scoring Messiah 16-7. Coach Etheart seems to be getting his team back on track offensively, but we will see if he can improve the team’s defense.
