St. Joseph’s scored 6 post season goals after winning the first two games against Old Westbury (2-0) and USMMA (2-1), sending them to the finals to take on a UMSV team that had not lost in Conference play. St Joseph’s came out of the gate hot scoring in the first minute of the game, with a goal by Jack Pulisic, then at the 31-minute mark Pulisic put in his second goal. UMSV put the pressure on in the second half scoring a goal, but St. Joseph’s just held out behind Dean Burchard’s stellar goalie play, helping St. Joseph’s secure the championship.
