Mount Saint Mary College suffered a 5-0 loss to Catholic University on Sunday afternoon in Washington, D.C., as the Cardinals scored four times before halftime to take complete control of the final match of the Turk Emekli Classic. Catholic opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Donik Elshani finished a pass from Charlie Paparella. Just 79 seconds later, Carson Shamoo doubled the lead, and Hamin Oladokun added another in the 32nd minute to put the Cardinals ahead 3-0. Alessandro Marquez Zeleya added a fourth goal in the 41st minute.

Catholic continued to control possession and generate chances after the break, eventually adding its fifth goal in the 78th minute through Jorge Gonzalez-Tello. The Knights were held without a shot during the opening 45 minutes before producing five attempts in the second half. Noah Christian and Cam Welsh each recorded a shot on target for Mount Saint Mary, while Catholic goalkeeper Trevor Grice finished with two saves.

Catholic finished with a commanding 25-5 advantage in shots and put 10 attempts on frame compared with two for the Knights. Mount Saint Mary goalkeeper Jacob Rauf made four saves during the opening half in his first collegiate appearance, while Landon Mabe took over in the second half. Catholic also held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks as the Cardinals completed a dominant performance and improved to 2-0, while Mount Saint Mary fell to 0-3.
