SUNY Old Westbury sophomore forward Henrik Ropstad emerged as one of the Skyline Conference's most dangerous offensive players in 2025, earning Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors and a spot on the First Team All-Skyline. Ropstad finished the season with 14 goals, six assists and 34 points in 17 games, averaging 2.00 points per game. He also recorded 62 shots and 36 shots on goal, ranking among the conference leaders in all three categories. His 14 goals tied for the conference lead, while his 34 points were the highest total in the Skyline.
Ropstad consistently delivered big performances throughout the season. On September 13 against Brooklyn College, he scored twice and added an assist in a 3–0 Old Westbury victory, accounting for all three of the Panthers' goals. He also recorded two goals and an assist against Yeshiva on September 4 and scored twice in Old Westbury's 5–1 victory over Sarah Lawrence on October 22. Against Sarah Lawrence, Ropstad produced a season-high eight shots and seven shots on goal, demonstrating the constant pressure he put on opposing defenses.
Ropstad finished the campaign with four game-winning goals, which ranked second in the Skyline, while his 36 shots on goal also ranked second in the conference. His 14 goals and 34 points ultimately earned him the conference's highest offensive honor and established the sophomore as one of the premier attacking players in the Skyline. With a breakout 2025 campaign already under his belt, Ropstad enters the next chapter of his Old Westbury career as one of the conference's players to watch.
