UMSV vs Mount Saint Mary’s-
UMSV picks up a big conference win over Mount Saint Mary’s 14-6. UMSV managed to keep the ball on their side of the field for the majority of the game, they had 14 more shots on goal, while also winning the face-off battle 13-10. UMSV also had Max Mills in the net who locked down, only allowing 6 goals with 20 shots on net. On offense UMSV was led by Mattias Remes who had 5 goals and 1 assist, then by Thomas Vallely with 4 goals, followed by Nigel Walker with 2 goals, then Donte Thornhill, Josiah Johnson-Charles, Isaac Parsons all scored 1 goal each. Mount Saint Mary’s did have some bright spots, with Tyler Mackay scoring 2 goals, followed by Henry Micyk, Brandon Pagano, Joseph Corallo and Hayden Mitchell with 1 goal each. UMSV showed they can keep up offensively, while Mount Saint Mary’s just couldn’t convert on offense to their normal level, due in some part to Max Mills locking down the net.
